The World Peace March and its impact in the different countries
The World Peace March has appealed to people and countries all across the world and more than 140 of them have joined it. The different countries and participants have decided to have different kinds of things to earmark the World Peace March and its arrival in their country.
For instance, the Colombian participants which are the country from where the march commences will provide the flag of the event on the bridge of Rumichaca in Tulcan, to the delegation of Ecuador. This will be an art and culture festival on similar grounds as those that have been done in other countries in Europe, Africa and America. Therein, this will include several different kinds of social events, cultural and sporting events that will keep the participants routed and entertained.
The way forward for the World Peace March in Madrid is a congregation of hundreds of people out in the streets for a parade with folk groups, dances and percussion.
In Los Angeles, the march brought together about 500 people, who asked the U.S. President Barack Obama to withdraw military troops deployed in Afghanistan.
In México DF, the city's mayor, Marcelo Ebrard, delivered a speech about the team for their recognition of non-violence initiatives that have been taken by the World Peace March.
In Panama, one bright Sunday there gathered over 40 organizations that made up 8 000 people in the center of the capital to celebrate the coming together for the World Peace March.
In Honduras, as a sign of peace, the team planted a tree at the archaeological site of Copán in the presence of hundreds of people who cheered on and wholeheartedly supported the World Peace March and the removal of nuclear weapons and war from the face of the earth.
In Ecuador, members of the march will remain for four days with events like the arts festival in Central Park Tulcán well as a purification ritual for peace, in Otavalo.
In Cayambe they will make a thatch for Peace and then a march in Quito will be released from Gandhi Square to the Plaza del Teatro, there is going to be a karaoke set up with the presence of various artists performing live to the audience.
In addition to this manifesto will be delivered to President Rafael Correa where the proposal is to incorporate peace and nonviolence at the level of UNASUR. Then, the members of MARCHA MUNDIAL ECUADOR hand the post to Peru in Lima.
The World Peace March is certainly going to be a bridge to the future that will help the citizens of a united world to be able to come together. This will ensure that people think of the harmful impact of nuclear weapons and wars and put an end to it. Also, when you ensure that you do not think on terms of violence, but adopt the better road of non-violence that puts an end to aggression and unnecessary enmity and death.
