The aim of the World Peace March

The project called the World Peace March is based on the main idea and theme of non-violence. The entire world needs to be without boundaries and nuclear arms. There should be total nuclear disarmament, removal of conventional arms, and reduction in the countries of the world resorting to wars. The World Peace March will also focus on signing non-aggression treaty between nations and the resignation of governments to use war as a means to resolve conflicts rather than negotiating across tables. This is what is showcased on the official website of the World Peace March.

The march began on October 2 in New Zealand and ended in Argentina on January 2, 2010.
The movement that it followed included a tour of several cities, which included Beijing, Prague, Lisbon, Montreal, Toronto, New York and Mexico.

There have been summon-up characters representing each country in different fields, who will be the speakers that promote the event in their respective nations.
The World Peace March aims at bringing together people in the pursuit of human development. They also want people to become a part of the International Humanist Movement organization and get their rights by the use of non-violence.

The MARCHA MUNDIAL ECUADOR  will be held on March 19 in the Ecuadorian capital to launch the World March for Peace and Nonviolence. There is bound to be a participation of various organizations, schools, institutions and individuals.
